3 Object Brass Kaleidoscope On Stand With Paperweight

A beautiful desk or table top dipslay kaleidoscope. Scope is brass and engraved. Stand is brass. Has 3 different objects, that easily slide into the end of the scope with a magnetic brass cap to hold it in place and finish off the design. A beautiful art glass paperweight completes the set. A great display and conversation piece. There is no artisan or manufacturer name on the scope of the base ( that i could find ), but teh paperweight is signed and datedhenry vitra '95. It is about 3 1/4 inches in diameter and nearly spherical with a flattened bottom. The paperweight fits into a brass rimmed scoup-out in the triangular or pie shaped base. The base appears to be walnut, but there are no labels or markings. Two holes in the base are fit for the 2 objects not currently in the scope. The kaleidoscope pivots a full 180 degrees. Overall size when the brass scope is parallel to the base 9 1/2 inches tall. Brass scope is 9 1/2 inches long. The three objects 2 are 3 long and one is 4 1/2 long. Larger one is fliled with pieces of smoothed art glass. One smaller one has atr glass plus some other items. The other small one is filled with buttons!

All floating is some kind of gylcerin solution for a smooth flowing look thru the scope. Great images thru the scope the shots i took thru the scope don't do this any justice. Total weight about 6 pounds.
