Televue Nagler 12Mm Type 2 Ep 1252

Tele-vue nagler 12mm type 2 ep. The first of the type 2 naglers, the 12mm continues then tradition of optical excellence in the nagler line.

The type 2 eyepieces contain 8 elements instead of 7, and do not suffer from kidney bean effect. None of the type 2's remain in production. Up for auction is my tele-vue nagler 12mm type 2 ep which was purchased in the late 90's. This ep is in very good condition and the optics are as they were when it was new, the body has some small marks inparticular the 2 skirt. This ep was mainly used in 2 mounts, hence the very little ware on the 1.25 skirt.

There is a slight nick in the eyepiece rubber which does not effect the performance of this ep. I have provided serveral photo's showning all aspects fo it. It is with great reluctance that i have this ep up for auction, but other astro projects need to be funded. This ep performs very well in either fast or slow scopes and it has provide some wonderful views through my lx 90 12.
